NEW YEARS SWING
The Rose City Hot Club kept dancers swingin' into the new year at the elegant Scottish Rite Grand Ballroom in downtown Portland.
The Rose City Hot Club was honored to be selected as featured musical entertainment for the gala celebration marking the opening and dedication of the new E.W. and Mary Firstenburg Patient-Care Tower Building at the Soutwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver. The event also offered facility tours which showcased non-profit, community-based, excellence in health care.
Dancing and socializing was on the agenda at the completely transformed Portland Police Mounted Unit's facility. The Tail-Wag Gala event was successful in providing substantial support to the programs of the Oregon Humane Society. The Rose City Hot Club enjoyed adding our swingin' energy to the occasion.
The swingin' tunes performed by the Rose City Hot Club are just as exciting and enjoyable today as they were during the time of Timberline Lodge's construction in 1936. Acoustic Swing Gypsy Jazz is the perfect complement to any wedding celebration and Timberline Lodge is certain to provide a memorable and romantic setting.
Portland's premier art-walk and swingin' gypsy jazz are a perfect match. Quality art and wonderful live music. The Rose City Hot Club has performed at a number of First-Thursday events.
